Froyo fürs HTC Dream (G1)

Seit gestern gibs unter cyanogenmod.com die 6.0.0 RC1 mit Android 2.2 zum herunterladen. Damit wird etwas war von dem viele gesagt haben, das es nicht möglich ist: Android 2.2 auf dem G1 bzw. HTC Dream.

Ich habs installiert und muss sagen die Geschwindigkeit (Schnelle Speicherkarte vorausgesetzt) ist sehr gut, einen Tick besser als bei Android 2.1.

Wohlgemerkt dies ist nur ein Release Candidate und kleinere Bugs stecken wohl noch drin.

Das das Forum auf cyanogenmod.com derzeit nicht erreichbar ist, kann man es bei xda-developers.com herunterladen.

Wie immer gilt alles erfolgt auf eigene Verantwortung.

1. Nandroid Backup machen
2. Cyanogenmod6.0.0 RC1 herunterladen
3. Google Addons herunterladen
4. Beides auf die SD-Karte kopieren
5. Beides nacheinander installieren
6. Rebooten und staunen
